Rare photographic stock from the Man Ray archive

A prominent figure in the Dadaism and Surrealism movements, Man Ray painted the portraits of important figures of his time, such as James Joyce, Picasso, Ava Gardner and Coco Chanel. These short-printed sheets reveal a sensitivity that is often not evident in his other works. These are his early trials and most are seeing the light of day for the first time at the Atlas Gallery in London.
