Skateistan

Skateboarders on the streets of Kabul: a non-governmental organisation helps Afghan children to believe in themselves using the skateboard as a tool. The children come from all walks of life in the country, including child labourers, mentally challenged children and 40% are girls. Along with the skills they gain from the sport, they also learn the concept of cooperation, recognition and effort.
