Frayed shirts, shards of glass, even a fragment of a denture. These are just a few of the personal effects that once belonged to the victims of the 1945 Hiroshima atomic bombing. For years, Ishiuchi Miyako has been visiting the Peace Memorial Museum in Hiroshima, photographing the remnants left behind by those who perished.
