Emmy 2025: The red carpet standouts – Javier Bardem in a keffiyeh
The Emmys 2025 were awarded, honoring “the best in American television from June 1, 2024 through May 31, 2025,” as selected by the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.
The big winner at this year’s Emmy Awards was Netflix’s dramatic television phenomenon “Adolescence,” which won a total of six awards and confirmed its reputation as one of the platform’s most successful productions. The series won best mini-series, best director, best screenplay and three performance awards, confirming its momentum and acceptance by audiences and the Academy.
However, the red carpet performances also stole the show, including those of Sydney Sweeney, Pedro Pascal, Jenna Ortega, Jake Gyllenhaal and Cate Blanchett.

Also, there was no shortage of political messages on the red carpet. Javier Bardem appeared in a kaffiyeh (keffiyeh) and said: “Free Palestine! I cannot work with any film or television company that justifies or supports genocide. Here I am today, denouncing the genocide in Gaza.”
Also, Megan Stalter appeared with a bag that read “ceasefire.”
